Brake Dust Particulate Filter from MANN+HUMMEL

Everytime you brake, brake dust is created from the friction of the brake pads. That thick, black dust seems unavoidable and is constantly building up on our wheels. And not only is it ugly, it is also harmful to your health. The brake dust contributes considerabely towards the pollution caused by road traffic. And with 90% of brake dust containing ultra-fine particles, brake dust has a negative effect on health.

To combat this, MANN+HUMMEL are designing a brake dust particulate filter which reduces these particles created during braking. This filter will suit all cars large and small, from electric cars to larger diesel and petrol vehicles.

This one filter will not only reduce negative impacts on the environment, but will also prevent that tedious and ongoing routine of scrubbing your car tyres.
