HOW IT WORKS

The transmission is responsible for channelling power from the engine to the wheels – so a clean, well-functioning transmission is vital for high performance. The transmission kit components include the filter that prevents debris from entering the transmission, and the gasket that seals the transmission filter to the pan.

In some cases the transmission pan will also be included as part of the assembly where the filter is built into that component. Some transmissions may also have an external filter that is either a canister or cartridge type.
